The charming landscape between Lake Schluchsee and the 1,100-meter-high Pflumberg to the south, Windgf\u00e4llweiher and Feldberg (1,493m) to the west near Lake Titisee, and the 1,192-meter-high Hochfirst to the north, is crossed by two picturesque valleys, the Haslach and Ursee valleys. The Haslach and Gutach rivers merge at the eastern boundary of the town to form the widely renowned nature reserve<\/strong> of the Wutach Gorge.<\/p>\n

Many attractions are easily accessible by bus or train, or you can hike directly from the guesthouse along the well-marked trails of the Schwarzwaldverein. There are two premium trails to discover: the Schluchten- und Viaduktepfad in the Kappel district, and the Hirtenpfad in the Raitenbuch district.
