Sustainability – Responsibility for the future

In 2023, we modernized our heating system: log wood and pellets have since replaced the oil-fired heating. Added to this is our photovoltaic and solar thermal system—a 20 kWp installation covering 22 m², providing electricity for our own use and supplying part of our hot water. In our kitchen, we rely on locally sourced regional products, partnering with local businesses including Metzgerei Adler (butcher), Bäckerei Wiest (bakery), Konditorei Roters (confectionery/pastry shop), Fischzucht Kaiser (fish farm), and fruit growers Erler / Schwär.
